The most influential of all silent films — and a blueprint for future classics like Blade Runner and The Matrix — Fritz Langs visionary Metropolis can finally be seen as intended, with 25 minutes of newly-discovered footage and Gottfried Huppertzs magnificent original score. The addition of this astounding new material (1,257 shots, including entire new sequences), carefully restored and edited into the 2002 restoration, results in the closest rendition ever seen since the films 1927 Berlin premiere.
Hope this lame twinkly music isn't part of the restored film's soundtrack!

When I get my next paycheck I'm gonna order this off Amazon. I've never seen this movie so I think watching it in its near entirty and on blu-ray might be a good way to go.

@DrNoYes9 it doesnt really matter what version of the film you get, it's a silent movie. It won't make a difference, believe me.
