  • this is one of the physical standards required of the NLS program. It is not actually representative of how an ideal rescue might be initiated.

  • @CushdelaCush try to make them float ont he water and maintain a straight line, if u have to turn make the turn BIG :)

  • i have to do this on monday i thought i had a choice between the canadian log or this but it turns out i have to do this one i hope i dont fail this part

  • i can do everthing else but this is a toughie i can do the turn but cant seem to get the casuality moving , lol i was dragging the body under on my 1st go any tips

  • Almost failed NLS because of this carry, my victim was 170 lbs and muscular while I was 120 lbs.

    Eggbeater saved my life! LOL

  • @rawrr216 well... depends if you're good at it or not

  • Stupid weird music!!!!

  • @Tirnith the vice grip keeps the victim more immoblized than the head splint.

  • This victims head was brought way too high out of the water. As well as the rescuer should have had another finger free to protect the airway... but good though-nice egg beater!!!!

  • Plus the reason for eggbeater is that eggbeater motions aren't jarring: that is to say, a scissor or whip kick would cause the rescuer to bounce up and down out of the water, jeopardizing the patient's immobilization
