Use Google Docs to take Lecture Notes

Instead of using Microsoft Word to take notes, why not try something more stable and useful like Google Docs.

As a student you'll have access to your notes anywhere on campus even if your laptop might be dead or your computer is at home. If you have an iPod Touch or mobile device with a browser, you can probably view the documents on their as well.

this was very helpful. thank you! i hate saving all my notes onto my computer and taking up space. I don't know what other people do or if they save everything to their computer.

@missallicat87 There's actually a pretty good alternative to using Google Docs. It's called Drop Box. Drop Box will store your files both on your computer and online. That way, you can have a backup of your files in case you lose them on your computer. Also, when you edit a document or file on your computer, Drop Box will update the version online, making sure both stay up to date.

If you're doing a simple presentation with a few other people this is awesome because you can all go ome and work on it at your house together
