When we think of "tough" we think of Boxing or MMA John Wayne,but the real bad asses are ppl like Jon Blais who show courage and will in a fight they know they have no chance of winning and there's no traineror ref  to toss in the towel

What a HERO! He passed away in 2007... Rest in peace.

blazemanmom, after seeing and hearing the story of Jon at Rev3 and Timberman and getting into the tri world this summer, I don't go a day without thinking of him. Stay strong, keep inspiring, the Blais family is making a difference in the world, no doubt about that.

I survived a bad car wreck & have a spine full of screws & rods. Because of the Warrior Poet's story, I found determination and a fight inside me that I never knew I had. I finished Ironman Augusta 70.3 this weekend; my first triathlon ever because of your son's amazing story. Thank you for touching my life Blazeman! -Brian
