  • The True Meaning of Life! John Blais sums it up. Aside from the amazing editingand inspirational music you can't get past the fact that Jon Blais was an amazing man who was able to share his gift of life with the rest of us. I raced Ironman Louisville 2009 and Jon was one of my biggest motivators. I have been fortunate to have a perfectly healthy body but I aspire to be more like Jon. God Bless him for living and showing others how.

  • I was introduced to this great man by Chrissie Wellington, and as I did more research on the net, my respect has grown even more. Amazing inspration, and what an amazing human being. There are not enough words to describe it, his story brings tears to the eye. Rest in peace Jon.

  • In 2005 Answer to the call, like those… A Fighting Bum who found his the Eye of the Tiger in a Meat Freezer. A Farmer who became a Warrior Poet and Freed a Country. A Thelma and Louise who out ran the Law in a Blaze of Glory. A General who became a Gladiator and gave back Rome it's True Self. A Kid who Learned to Dance Against all Odds. A Friend who became a Long Distance Friend even after all these Years. Who is at it again… HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! With Tough Love, -blazeman..

  • The Queen K Highway...where the -blazeman..."faced his fears and lived his dream...and put an Ironman's face to ALS"...rolled the finish, for (awareness and a cure)..."so others may live." simply put he raced for a cure!!!...bdad...jon's dad.

  • Fratres! .. Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so. Hold the line! Stay with me! If you find yourself alone, riding in the green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium, and you're already dead! ... Brothers, what we do in life... echoes in eternity. "

  • Blais: challenged ALS, raged against the dying of the light "The most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered, but to have fought well." -Baron de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympic Games

  • Thank you all for visiting Jon's video...we miss him more as time goes on...
