I don't know.... I hate to say bad things about a guitar player. And I know kotzen is an amazing one. But really.... this sucks. His tone is note nice in this video. He's standing like " oh I don't like this song, hope it ends earlier this time" while the rest of the band is givin' their souls to make it better. Awful

Keep in mind though, Richie hadn't played that many shows with Mr.Big quite yet at the time of this recording.

I can admit Richie Kotzen is one great guitarist, but I have to say that I don't feel as much energy on his performance as I do with Paul's. When Paul plays this song it sounds freaking killer !!! This one sounds kind of weak and boring.

you also have to keep in mind that RK had only been performing live with Mr.Big for less than a month when this was recorded.... just sayin'.

Richie Kotzen can kiss Paul Gilbert's ass any day of the week. He did a lame job with Mr Big as well as he did with Poison. The kind of guitarist you can easily forget about.

RK is less pyrotechnic than PG. Both are superb guitarists. PG has more of a cartoony rock star sound (high gain and aggressive) RK is more blusey. Remember this aint Richies song, this his his best attempt at sounding like Paul Gilbert

I think the basic difference is that Kotzen just doesn't have the bollox - or sound that Paul does - As another guy says this does sound weak compared to the maestro's version!

Hmm.... It doesn't seem right without Paul, it just sounds like it's missing something. Oh well, Paul is back now, all is well ^^
