The Downtown Fiction is a rock / pop / indie band from Fairfax, VA. Formed in the summer of 2008 by Cameron Leahy (vocals/guitar), Eric Jones (drums) and David Pavluk (bass and backing vocals)
In summer 2008 The Downtown Fiction posted three demos on the band's MySpace profile and quickly built a loyal fan base and quite the buzz. Citing influences ranging from Green Day to The Rolling Stones, the pop-rock trio has a sound comparable to the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, and The All-American Rejects.
Thanks to their catchy pop melodies, clever lyrics, and witty YouTube videos, the band quickly moved into the Top 25 unsigned artists chart on Myspace.com with nearly 2.5 million plays on MySpace all in a year's time. Last year the group released its self-titled debut EP on iTunes peaking at #22 on the overall charts and recently named one of the "100 Bands You Need To Know" by Alternative Press Magazine.

@sarah4awesomeness You would need PS3 or XBOX versions of Rock Band to access this song. Will be on the Nintendo Wii soon as well.
