This video is a contribution for World Voice Day which will be celebrated on April 16, 2008. It tells the story about a pastor who was exposed to tobacco and alcohol at an early age and later acquired throat cancer requiring removal of his voice box. It is sung by him and another laryngeal cancer survivor, who both had voice restoration and speech therapy after their surgeries.

  • God bless ya'll. I was called to the Christian ministry last year and plan on studying theology in the near future. I am completely physically capable of doing so but am not the best reader and sometimes get discouraged. If a preacher without vocal chords can press on and "smile through his fear and sorrow" then I know I can! Thanks ya'll!
