I don't know whether this is what griffinstewigriffin really meant, but the impression I got from their comment was that they didn't support the Iraq war because they don't support the idea of conflict or the sickening loss of life on all sides when war occurs.

War is a reality that all countries and all people of those countries are forced to face, but putting aside why America - or other countries - went to war in Iraq, I think it's the idea itself of war they are against.

@griffinstewigriffin What about this war, exactly, don't you support? The fact that it is retaliation to a brutal attack on our citizens? Retaliation that is overdue, we already had completely overlooked the USS Cole incident, which, by the way, emboldend bin Laden, to the point where he was then willing to attack us expecting no retaliation. The reason we went into Iraq is beyond me, I'll give you that, but the war is worth fighting, and I say that, in expectance of fighting in if it continues.

@weeter07 I support the troops who fight but when I see comments like yours it makes you look like trigger happy pricks who are just doing it for honor. NOT for peace not to save innocent people but to get a pretty outfit and a nice medal at the end if you survive. Take a look at yourself. Your making a squad look like a cult and making everyone in the military look like stuck up ass holes.
