Glare doesnt come from the color, inform yourself first, if the HID kit its not arranged with proper HID projectors or HID reflectors they will glare, even if they are 4300k, actually 4300 its the brightest of them all at 3200 lumens when 6000k just have 2800 lumens and 10k only 2000 lumens, also wattage has nothing to do with color, they might have a slight difference but because of the brand not because of the wattage

@s2knott so 55w hid kit is an better choice when trying to avoid some cops ( well at least more avoidable than 35w ?) and people yelling because you blind him ????
i want to know
-
do you have problem with glare with 55w kit?
-
either way though, they seem more yellow than whitish.
on another note, you have a very nice driveway.
-
What brand are these or where did your order them from?
-
DO NOT GO WITH CHEAP COMPANIES go here philipshidkit com
More expensive but best quality
-
so which one is better?
-
@VieuxMalcommode ebay is a good place too, havnt had issues with mine from there

@HansyPants184 glare comes from the color not the amount 55w 4300k or 5000k will glare 100x less than a 35w 10,000k kit the blue light hurts the eye's night vision 5000k 55w is similar to daylight and not as bad for oncoming drivers.

Thanks for the video... I was wondering if 55w were worth it for high beams... But I'll stick with my 35w 8000k's
Great comparison that actually says something, with lamps in a standard housing nonetheless, where can I get some? ;)

@VieuxMalcommode
A variety of places online sell them.
Your best best and cheapest would be to go with ddmtuning, google them and you should find their site
Really cheap hid kits!
Remember when picking a temperature, 4300k outputs the most, but its just a white or light, as you move away form 4300k, you get more colour (eg. blue) but the light output does decrease

nah, the 55w tends to wash out the colour ...
just like in the video. The 55w 5000k appears more washed out and closer to 4300k than the 35w.
or another example is that people say the 55w 8000k appears closer to the 35w 6000k.
