Annabel Park volunteered for Barack Obama just as millions of other Americans did. There were also millions of Americans who volunteered for John McCain, and the other candidates who ran in 2008. If each of us were disqualified from participating in civic discourse as a result of past volunteerism, we would have a very impoverished democratic process.
