Hey Brickcellent, Hope this tutorial helps! Pretty cool song. I like the minimalism of it. There are a few ways to play each part, depending on which part of the neck you want to play on. The main reason I usually play in different areas of the neck is either to make things easier, or because of tone. If you're playing on the high E and B strings, everything sounds brighter. Also, as you get near the middle of the neck, regardless of strings, the tone is a bit 'warmer'.

Hope some of my ramblings on the issue of which area of the neck to play on made sense!

Good luck!

  • When Frank plays this acoustic, you can see him play the higher version (9th fret). Thanks for the lesson!

  • @slackroland That's cool, which vid is that in? I'll have to check it out

  • Sounds lovely but the explanation seems a bit too complicated and hard to follow. Anyway, thanks for sharing it. All the best.

  • u r amazing!!!

  • @thebigbluedino It's an Alvarez acoustic electric. I don't have it with me now or I'd give you the model number. I really like it because it's thin body

  • What kind of guitar is that?

  • @How2MakeGuitarRiffs Definitely man! Thank again!
