in this video on my new SKODA Octavia 1.6 TDI I do the lowest fuel consumption !!! 2.3 l/km ( the instant consumption in the 4th ghear at 55 KM/H )

so what i am saying is to always keep your engine at the boost level...even after you are changing a gear to always have the max torque level

@sorinelmake man, it`s a diesel engine ! at this car max torque level is 250 ( 1.500-2.500 rpm ) ! Remember! is my car, going the way I like and you do not have to give me advice

nice!!! we will get it in a few days! (we are changing an older with petrol engine and 15 l/100km consumption so I think that we will forget the gas stations!

To serve that load, the engine should rev more, that the power / torque is sufficiently developed to "lead" that task without high fuel consumption - which leads to incomplete combustion, the residue accumulating in room combustion / cylinder / piston / turbine / catalyst / exhaust path.

Underreving can be prevented by maintaining a high enough speed where the power / torque developed by motor is sufficient to overcome the burden being put on without a higher fuel consumption.

@sorinelmake dude, the 1.6 cr tdi even indicates on the dash that you should keep it at low revs, so why the hell should it be higher revs? Do some research before you start giving stupid comments :)
