Tyrov's E3 2010 Vids #2 - Marvel vs Capcom 3

Yours truly was at E3 this year! Got to try MvC3 out. Plays a lot like TvC, which isn't too bad in my opinion. A lot of haters be hatin', though.

Ehhh i wouldnt say it was THAT Much like TvC. I played today too, it seems closer to MvC 1 if anything. TvC is much slower. Either way its still a blast.

@DML897 Yeah, thinking about it more, you're right. I guess the TvC portion I was feeling was the whole "pressing back and tapping the assist button" to switch out instead of 2 attack buttons to switch. Same with how there's a "launch" button to do air combos.

Yes, the control scheme has been dumbed dow... oh I mean simplified. But at least now, the noobies will enjoy playing this game for the first few weeks after it comes out. I'm so glad that new comers will now have a few minutes of entertainment with this game before going back to Wii Sports Resort or Madden 2011. Hopefully, they'll also add Kinect support for this game so that all the kiddies and soccer moms can joing in the fun too. YAY!!! ... Fuck you Capcom!

I'm disappointed that this plays like TvC. I own both MvC2 and TvC and I prefer MvC2 all the way. The Light, Medium, Heavy, Launcher, and 2 assists setup is so easy and fun. Whereas, TvC left me confused some times because getting off a launcher was weird. I would enter the usual command I did for launchers and half the time I'd launch and half the time I wouldn't. There's no hope in complaining to Capcom because all of their decisions are finalized now. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I hate the fact that the switching of characters is like on TvC that is really really GAY!!!

Honestly I didnt like anything about TvC because the gameplay was terrible.

the small portion for the boxes for character selection actually made me a little sad coz it means it's gonna have less chars that mvc2. but that's imo.
