The Connecticut Citizens Defense League is a non-partisan, grassroots organization devoted to advocating rights affirmed by the Constitutions of the United States of America and the State of Connecticut. We are especially dedicated to protecting the unalienable right of all citizens to keep and bear arms, for the defense of both self and state, through public enlightenment and legislative action.

About Jerry

Jerry Labriola, Jr. was born and raised in Naugatuck, CT. He is the eldest son of Dr. Gerald Labriola, and Lois (Follett) Labriola.

Jerry graduated from Naugtauck High School in 1975. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College in 1979. He then went on to law school at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. where he earned his law degree in 1982. During law school Jerry served as a summer intern at the United State Department of Justice. He was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1983 and is currently a partner in the law firm of Labriola & Labriola, LLC of Naugatuck with his brother David. He has also served as Naugatuck Town Attorney in 1989-1991.

For the past 21 years, Jerry has resided in Wallingford with his wife Barbara Thompson and family. Ms. Thompson is currently the Town Clerk of Wallingford. Jerry has held numerous civic positions in Wallingford including serving on the Wallingford Board of Assessment Appeals for 14 years.

Although he has never held public office, Jerry has been active in the Republican Party assisting numerous campaigns over the years, including those of his father and brother. Jerry has served as State Chairman of the Connecticut Young Republicans, and the Connecticut Republican State Central Committee representing the 34th Senatorial District.

Currently, Jerry serves as the elected Treasurer of the State Republican Party.

Jerry loves the sport of soccer and has been coaching girls soccer for the past 15 years. Currently, Jerry serves as head coach of the Ansonia High School girls soccer program.

Being a lifelong republican,I'm extremely disappointed ,that this is the best we can come up with to run against Rosa Deloro! I wouldn't vote for him if he was running for DOG CATCHER!
