the teacher clearly states structure and relaxation not once did he say anthing about using force clearly those who are typing crap are external artists or people who have no idea about martial arts who cant look past there muscles and there fat egos until you let go of such nonse u will always find taiji a mystery when in truth it is not so complicated.Try a session with the teacher then comment until then ur words are like a man with a broken leg trying to run
@LOSPIRIT1 Where, exactly, do you see him "jumping around"? He's regaining his balance and avoiding a fall. Have someone push you off balance and see whether you "jump around". Yeah? Oh, you must be a "charlatan", too. Also, you'll notice that a lot of this is because he continues to push and pull the other guy as soon as, or just before, he regains his footing. Hence, it looks like he's flopping around, kind of how it would look if he were standing on a surfboard in choppy water.
@LOSPIRIT1 - Its either he jumps back, or he falls over. This is the more realistic response. A lot of other demo guys run backwards.. which isnt realistic. This guy knows how to take the energy correctly, without running or falling. The jump releases connection to the ground + enables the guy to put his feet & mass under him by the time he lands.
I come from a Judo/ Ju Jitsu background. Last week I was lucky enough to experience fajin first hand from a master. I have to say it was a very odd experience. I couldn't move the teacher but he repeatedly threw me. Has to be felt to understand it i think
great vid, thanks for posting!

This is an excellent video of push hands principles and structure in taiji. I would love to see a vid of this master doing any portion of the form.

@LOSPIRIT1 I have no problem doing this on non-compliant people, how else would I get students?

If I think about it - it makes me sad that many people alive today will not get the opportunity to learn this amazing skill.
