Pen Dragon Drawing

This drawing is done completely in Black Biro pen.
I wasn't going to make this as a video at first, that's why i havent got pics/clips of me sketching out the outline. I did not use pencil to draw the outline, i have only used pen the entire time, as u can see if u look closely there is little lines that aren't ment to be in certain places :)

I have made this video partly out of Pictures and partly Video clips to showyou the different stages, and to shorten the length of the video withought speeding it up to much.

Video clips are sped up x2.

All together the whole drawing took around 30 - 45 mins

TIPS: When using pen, Dark outlines really bring out the picture. Cross-hatching technique is a really good way of pen shading. And don't worry if u got wrong because u can go over it and transform it into something else most of the time :)

@SqqOwVmT80 Hi, like a said on the 20 minute dragon, I dont usually rush my artwork. The use of pen however, yes you are right, there are many ways to screw up, but its more exciting to draw it knowing you have more of a risk :)

@RyAnScReAmOlOvEr Thankyou very much. I have always loved drawing dragons since I can remember. I used to have a story book about dragons and I thought the dragon pictures in it were amazing. I started creating my own dragons just copying certain characteristics from pictures I'd seen here n there.

Nice drawing, but try to make bigger claws. Cuz if you look at its toe-size you need a lot bigger, and shaper claws to give a fierce look! ;)
