On today's CapeCast: We cross the briny deep to legendary North Monomoy Island, home to birds, crabs, fishermen and mystery...plus the U.S. Marine Corps band!
I spent my summer & fall days there as a child. Haven't been out there for awhile but not far. I Can see it from Hardings Beach. I have home videos on here of Monomoy from the 60's if you want to take a look. Things have changed with time.
The Pendalton was still there. Thats in some of the films to. We use to climb the tower. Scary! My father use to ride us under the wreck and take us over the rip. Many tuna fish sandwiches and zarex overboard. TheMurphyFamily
