Her perspective as a modern young Saudi with global presence has made Muna AbuSulayman the ideal candidate for many of the tasks she has undertaken. Becoming one of the leading media celebrities in the Middle East was not enough for this young Saudi woman.

Those islamic states that are suffering need to wake up, change doesn't even have to be drastic it could evolve like all things do. And with so many angry muslims blaming western imperialist thought and actions I fear you will continue to slip further behind as you fail to see the bigger picture

Remember that what you see as western culture has not always been as such. Europe and america used to be a very backward place indeed, executions were more common than those in sharia law states today and women would often be called witches and killed for saying or thinking progressively. All of this changed through a number of free thinking movements and revolutions and evidently things are much better now in the west as we can all see

So modernity seems to be the global ideal and still some muslim states cannot get to grips with this and continue to think of everything as an attack on their religion, you guys should look at turkey and indonesia as progressive role models

Western civilisation is a dated definition and arguably wrong. It is NOT specifically western where you get that multi sensory air of freedom. To start with, Japan, S.Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, S.Africa and China in parts all live identical lives to those in N.America and Europe, and so rapidly are Thailand and Indonesia *note, another muslim country. They all live this lifestyle and they are not the usual western US and European powers

In Korea, S.Africa, Argentina, & Turkey *note, a muslim country, i felt the same freedom I feel here in the west. Just traveling, going about daily business, letting live, enjoying all the fun that any middle class global citizen could have in life, even in China too. Common in adaptive thinking societies. But in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan & Iran the inability to get to grips with modernity is stark. Muslims need to release the chip on their shoulder, start looking at things a little clearer
