man i just put this same tutorial video up because everybody was doing it wrong in their videos, then right after i published mine a few minutes ago, i saw this video and you are the only person besides me that is playing it like it really goes. people need to use the ears

hey man nice vid and the chords are good, except for one thing, you play 3 notes at a time.
This is how I think it is to be played:
Dm7 (5th fret) (from High E to Low E: x6575x)
G7(D) (4th fret) (x6455x)
Cmaj7 (3th fret) (x5453x)
and after that you are right i think.
I dont know if G7(D) is the right name for the chord so if someone knows it, please tell me =P

Since, you've only been playing guitar for a short time I can understand your ears aren't developed yet. :D So, try this: Listen to the chords and zone in on the root note then find the highest note. After that, the other notes aren't too hard to find. Good luck with your ears, dude!

Yeah, but adding the extra notes colors the chords too much. And as far as singing: this is just the beginning! hahahaha
