Rounds 9 & 10 of the P1 World Championship Series
P1 Radio commented on how smoothly the #97 Lucas Oil Outerlimts cut through the waves and heeled the corners so cleanly. "This race boat is a dream to drive, Mike Fiore and the team at Outerlimits have built a boat which is unparalleled" commented Hook, who was jubilant on taking the first place. The gives the team a three wins out of the last four races.
Saturday Round 9 - After dominating the race from lap three to lap nine, with just one lap before the finish, #97 Lucas Oil Outerlimits came up short with a fuel problem. After racing over 100 miles, by not being able to cross the finish line and checkered flag, no points were awarded.
Sunday Round 10 - The race was fought on the southern end of the North Sea in Zeebrugge and lived up to the expectations of a rough race to host the continuing battle between the Lucas Oil Outlerlimits and the King of Shaves. Six foot seas and more provided true offshore conditions.
