dotcom modular & Moog Voyager duet

This is an improvisation with the 22-space portable synthesizers.com analog modular and a Moog Voyager Signature Edition. The Voyager's output is patched into an input on the Q150 Ladder Filter in the modular. The output of the modular is patched into an Eventide TimeFactor delay pedal. It's output is connected to a Yamaha N12 mixer that feeds Cubase 6. No other processing performed.

The modular includes three dotcom Q106 oscillators, a Sputnik 258 Dual Oscillator (Buchla clone), Q110 noise source, Q117 sample & hold, STG Soundlabs mixer, two Q109 envelope generators, Q104 MIDI interface, Q118 instrument interface, Q150 ladder filter, a MegaOhm CdS VCF/A (Buchla clone), MegaOhm LFO Two, Q124 multiple, and a Q108 Amplifier.

Cubase 6 is outputting a MIDI sequence to the modular's MIDI interface module, which drives the oscillators. The Buchla clone oscillator is patched to create FM. The percussive effects are coming from the MegaOhm CdS VCF/A filter / VCA, driven by the sine wave output of one of the Q106 oscillators and pushed into self-oscillation. Fun!
