  • How did that T-Bird Engine turn out?

Oh ya, the supertracks will not fit over the 24" Frontier tires, not enough clearance between the tires and the tub. I have 22" tires that I put on with the tracks, when I run them. I only run the Supertracks in the winter.

  • @RockDoctor07 The tbird runs good, ya my tracks would not fit the ITP tires.

  • Does your set-up use the Drive belt Part No 125-56 if so what is the distance between your drive centres on the 2 clutches as I'm not sure if I set mine right.

  • @0ddba11s I'm not sure of my part #, I'll check later. When I measured my centerlines the difference was almost the same as prior.

  • @guitarhack42 Yes I had to calculate mine as I had a bike engine in for the last year, so not sure if i got the distance right.

  • @guitarhack42 Talk to Roc Doc, he's the expert there

  • @dedwards8708 If I get some extra money, I'm going to buy those 24" frontiers. But I wonder if you can put supertracks over them?

  • @guitarhack42 If you have a motor to help you along those tires are excellent in the mud, but as Rock Doc said the ultimate tire for your Machine is the 24" frontier with very tight clearance.

  • @RockDoctor07 Thanks Doc. Good to hear from you. I just degreased and power washed the chain box and wet vac'd it and added new front chains. I'll take a vid of it tomorrow. I may try and install the engine tomorrow too.

  • Hi guys :-)

"Bushwacker" and "dedwards" are correct, so are you.

Front chains are a little loose, but not too bad. Sprockets on front axles and Idler shafts float. Setscrews should be tightened on the idler shaft brngs . Those tires won't swim very well, I actually prefer the 24" Frontier Tires (VERY Tight Fit) to the 22" ones.
