A fun grade-B sci-fi variant of "Gulliver's Travels". In the future (1980) an astronaut makes a crash landing on an asteroid which turns out to be inhabited by six inch tall humanoids. He shrinks to their size, befriends the little people and falls in love with one of their girls. She's a mute but somehow manages to regain her voice later as the excitement mounts. The astronaut helps his new friends to fight off the dog-faced solarite monsters. - Something Weird
I remember this. They played it straight. There was even a scene of a dying astronaut reciting the Lord's Prayer as he drifts off into oblivion.

I vagely remember watching this show on 'Son of Svengoolie' of Chicago almost thirty years ago. Movies like that are fun to watch.
