This is the same lame 'Cheap Chinese' unit that is sold across Australia, OK but not really up to the job with true hard woods like our Iron Bark and Yellow Box. Would be fine with maple and fir, red wood etc. I have seen several of them simply break the foot support clean off the end - or if the log is not square cut at the end, it bends it as the foot is just 4 pieces of 3/8 x 2 inch flat bar covered with a piece of 5/16 plate. But you get what you pay for - you can remodel it if it fails.
