Time zooms by. I'm in my 50s now, and it goes quicker every week. Friends also drift in and out, as another poster observed. It's things like funerals that mark friendships, and sometimes even family, as time goes by. Yeah, use the times like these to regather who matters in your life. Friendships take effort, like anything else.

I´m only 26 years old now, but I also realise already that I deal with difficult situations in a different way than I did before. Thanks for the behind-the-scenes! :)

It gets harder the older you get!

I see from previous comments that you and your friend intend to stay in touch. Maybe that's the one positive you can take from such an awful experience for you and for your friend's family.

It was good seeing my friend, if only for the wake up call that it served. This also reminded me to stay in better touch with a few other friends who may not be online as often as I'd like, but are still around to at least answer emails! :)

Friends drift into and drift out of our lives all the time. I found that after a while people develop priorities beyond your friendship and they eventually stop making an effort to get together. Losing interest is mutual when people outgrow each other. It's sad but true...
Now, I imagine you can adjust the time limit on that camera. What if you want to do a ten minute vlog without any edits?

I guess one of the complaints about this otherwise amazing camera is the 5 minute limit on videos. Granted, it's a DSLR, so the main purpose is to shoot stills. Who knows.
Thanks for the great comment. Sad but true indeed. :)
