Are you talking about the 2010 extension where the republicans threatened to shut down government and end unemployment benefits if we didn't continue to pander to their super rich contributors? There's no question that borrowing for the rich was the republican priority in the budget negotiations!

In less than 3 fiscal years Obama has lowered deficits, decreased unemployment, stabilized stock, housing and financial markets and increased revenue. Bush did the opposite when he was in charge.
