Adults don't go to rehab for marijuana typically. That does not mean it's not addictive.

@yageman No, and honestly, I don't think I'll ever have to be to rehab. Me saying I had people I knew that 'smoked pot' wasn't an attempt at trying to 'be cool' or some other infantile shit. You say because I say people should have responsibility for their actions that I'm gay and that I oversimplify things. don't worry about trying to be a dick about it. I was simply saying that marijuana is addictive and that you are oversimplifying things.

What you are referring to is the "stinking thinking" that drug addicts tend to have. Half the time it's one and the same with their shot nervous system/shot dopamine system.

@yageman The point was, with even your limited paraphrasing, that marijuana isn't addictive. People make it a routine in their lives and come down to their own faults as to why they don't quit. Its the same with substituting food, you could quit, but you choose not to because you can't see how you're going to go on without it. It's not the substance it's the user. So way to go with your theory. Try reading the entire comment.

You have a very limited understanding of how addiction works. Your comment, "I know on pot that seem addicted to it, rationing out money to get hits every week, going no where with their lives, honestly it's not the drugs that're doing it."...makes very little sense in an addiction context.

It's their personal faults. Weed doesn't do shit to you that you don't already do to yourself or to the weed itself. Don't pass the buck on shit people need to take responsibility. Smoking pot isn't out of their hands. Just moving forward is.
