Hearing Shadow, I smell intense vegetation in the dark. I'm in a jungle surrounded by thick trees.

I feel reality sinking in, the fact that I'm a biological organism spawned from the nastiest of times, raw and natural--and sometimes unnatural.

The feeling of being prey, seeping through my brain like an unlucky animal sinks through quicksand.

Along with Tangerine Dream's Zeit, a masterpiece of Dark Ambient.

I love Shadow, it's so unsettling. There really is something uncanny about it.
