Can i ask you what is that instrument you use to support your hand while painting eyes???

I think it's really helpful to keep hands still while using long brushes..

Thanks so much! :) The instrument is called a Mahl Stick. It helps a lot to steady your hand when you are working on an easel. I just use a curtain rod. Any long sturdy stick will do. Hope that helps.

At what point did you start using oils?? Was it with the orange??

I thought it was funny that you were so careful to use a "Mahl Stick" around her eyes, and then you take the brush and start wadding grey so that it would run down the page.
