  • I had this record when I was a kid, and I've never gotten tired of it. It's a true classic.

  • Bravo! At last somebody uploads this master piece of Artie Shaw in this YouTube which I have been searching for so long...Oh...fantastic!

Thank you so much SwingMan 1937 for posting!

  • I thought I'd prefer Barney Kessel's work on these sessions, but Hendrickson has this early Jump Blues uptown thing going for him that I'm just getting hip to. By the way, we need more early Saunders King with horns records up on youtube.

  • A great song, well and tastefully done.

  • Thank you very mush. I've been looking for Artie Shaw's version for a long time.

  • Thanks for posting Artie Shaw's version of "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes". I've just put it on my favorite list. I have this piece on an LP...but when I'm on the computer I like to listen to some of my favorite music..which this is.
