how do you guys avoid feedback loops when playing with distortion? I've had a lot of issues with that...

it's hard to give a straight answer, because there are a few factors.
we just got in-ear monitors and will be testing it next week at a few shows...which should prevent the floor monitors from creating feedback. we'll let you know how it goes!
avoid standing in front of the speakers, and if you can, try to reduce the frequency range that is causing it.
