Do these have to be shipped to ffl?

5oz more that is not that much weight fanboys
-
I don't understand why they have to change something that works so well. Aluminum cracks over time plastic does not. Plus it weighs more but puts the weight where it counts the least. If you want to counter recoil hang a light from you gun. The added weight keeps muzzle flip down a lot. Glock has been making guns for a very long time and they know what they are doing - these guys just started making this thing.

reason for it is some glocks under heavy use frames wear realy bad
glock fanboys will freak out but google glock wear frame to see pictures
problem is pops up with every gen of gun also
-
@Jonesey115 less recoil with a heavier firearm. And honestly it's never a bad idea to have a spare frame in case something ever does happen to your other one.

slow..

Uncle Mike OWNS!

Why would anybody want a metal framed Glock? The raison d'etre for the Glock was reduced weight and heavy firepower.

im not disputing that the robar is a nice weapon, nor that it is accurate. but the glock wasn't made as a beautiful piece of target machinery. it was made to be a combat weapon. to work when dirty, to be robust and durable. the tenifer coating, the polymer, the tolerances. it was all chosen for a reason. by making the slide and barrel stainless, you lose corrosion resistance. stainless will rust, tenifer wont. and you also have to lubericate stainless more. glocks run almost dry.
