@nepson1 well thanks for the info. my friend. actually newar are originally kirati.

when licchavis attacked and destroyed kirat kingdom in the kathamndu valley, many kiratis left kathmandu and settled in different parts of nepal. but some kiratis were left behind and others stayed behind because they did not want to part with their properties.

so these kiratis who stayed behind became newar.

now you know why some newaris looks like rai, limbu, sunuwar, dhimal, etc.
