  • but i guess it doesn't matter, think what you want. I'm doing you a favor by telling you that you look like an ignorant faggot when you say retarded shit like "wrestling isn't a martial art" but hey, if you want to be an ignorant japanophile and jizz your pants whenever someone mentions the word "sushi", you didn't even bother to address Krav Maga (which again just highlights your ignorance) I guess I can't change that. just hope you never get in a fight with a wrestler (yes, you'll lose)

  • @noose357 "Judo - A sport of unarmed combat derived from jujitsu and intended to train the body and mind." - since you wanted me to read a dictionary ;- ) Judo was not made for combat. you think Kano specifically created Judo to teach to the military? maybe your dumbass should read up on your own martial art. The fact that they chose to use Judo for their training just strengthens my own argument . so done yet? because you're not only ignorant of wrestling's origins but of judo's as well.

Judo also has alot of submissions, so if you decide you want to switch to BJJ later on, you can make a good transition. I know some BJJ instructors like their students to have a year or so in judo to develop the balance and coordination. And judo has alot of big tournaments year round, so you can get good experience against good fighters. I recently drew the US -66kg champion in a tournament first round and got to see what high-level speed is like. Really good experience.

Hey, yeah they are pretty similar. There are no leg grabs in judo anymore though. Its hard to find wrestling clubs outside of schools for sure. I would recommend judo. You will become much more flexible and learn to use your power with nice technique to be really good. I had the same problem, but my technique, flexibility, and speed are coming along quite well and i'm starting to throw some pretty good guys. The throws in judo are very effective in fights too.
