Hey Guys,
It's been a while since my last video so here goes! :D
Apologies for sloppy playing and the bad aspect ratio, tried to fix it in sony vegas but it ended up with me looking fat haha.
Gear used: Stock Chapman Guitars ML1,
Epiphone 1958 Explorer modded with schaller roller bridge tuned to Drop C#,
Line 6 POD X3 Live with an assortment of Bogner Uberschall and Diezel Herbert patches that need tweaking before my next video...
Video took waay too long to render in Sony Vegas due to my old single core PC...
Anyways, Enjoy! ~ Joe

  • would you recommend the explorer for shred? thanks

  • @williamdavidmckane It's fairly easy to shred on this guitar (I guess, lol) but the pickups have more of a vintage output so you'd want some higher output pickups if you wanted a stereotypical 'shred' sound... They do do an EMG version now which would probably be better for shred :D

  • sounds great bro :D a couple questions I have for you. Is the nice grippy? and is it chunky?

  • @Mysteryathandx The Neck? On Which the guitar? The ML1 has a fairly meaty neck, and is satin so hit has a very smooth feel (tis a very comfy neck) The explorer has a thinner tapered neck (but not flat like wizard necks), but is still quite comfy. The explorer's neck is glossy so if you have sweaty hands like me, it can get quite sticky... :) Feel free to ask any other questions :D

  • Really good mate!!!

Sounding good man! Like your intro song too its really nice!

  • @benwilshire Thanks man! :D

The song is a clip from a song I've been writing for a couple of weeks now, haven't really got round to finishing it haha XD
