  • You are amazing. Was debating buying a model like this to repair (for cheap), until I saw this video. It worked like a charm, and was surprisingly easy. I used a pin for the membrane. Thanks! I really appreciate when people actually post useful things on here.

  • @nadershakir I'm glad you were able to fix it, thats the idea of the vid, to help others and save them money since economy right now it's not that great, Take care, God bless.

  • What a disappointment. I've torn my TV apart following the instructions on this video only to find that the solder point on the membrane is embedded in impenetrable Polyimide. There is no way that I could solder through that. Why wasn't this mentioned? The video jumps from instruction to completed repair covered by tape without showing how the repair is done.

  • @frankross2001 Hi there, Like I said, by mistake I didnt record that part, but, its not impenetrable, you just have to carefully scratch with a razor in order to solder, or another risky option is to solder a needle and puch, through it, making contact. Remeber, this parts are not supposed to be serviced, so its not an easy fix. Hope you can manage the way to fix it, If I can help in anyway, let me know. Good luck my friend. By the way I have some pics I can e-mail them, if you want
