No, thats not bullshit what Tony was saying into the cameras what so ever. Take it from someone who has been on American idol and sat through the exact same thing, especially when being eliminated. This is exactly what happens:
-You are put in front of a camera, and asked a series of questions by a producer standing behind the camera. You can never address the person at any point in time, and they most certainly do not tell you what to say.

JUST met him this weekend in Chicago and had a couple drinks with him. He's definitely this kind of guy in person too and just so sweet. I'm like obsessed with him. We happened to be in the same hotel and stuff.
