This is the MDB's last halftime show of the 2002 season and this is the only time it was performed. It was former band director Kathryn Scott's last halftime show of her 27 year tenure. Songs include: "Krypton" , "Olympic Fanfare and Theme" , "Amazing Grace" and "My Home's in Alabama." The show also included the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets and the Atlanta Pipe Band.

  • let me know how you tune 50 trumpets and the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets...then get back to me.

  • Wasn't that during Auburn's upset win of 2002 when the AUMB performed their pregame show in Bryant-Denny? This was in response to the MDB surrounding the AUMB and playing "Yea Alabama" on Bodie Hinton Field the year before during the joint show.

  • I'm not sure.

  • Brings tears of joy ot my eyes and delight to my ears!!!

  • Man.. This was one of my favorite shows. I need to get the full res versions of 99-02 so i can watch them all.

  • That was my freshman year! That show right there was probably my favorite of all the ones from every year I was in the MDB!

  • @Altoclarinets P.S. I got to meet her today, it rocked!

  • The arrangement of Amazing Grace sounds like it was originally attached to the Lord's Prayer at the beginning. Do you know if this is true? I suppose I could just ask Dr. O...

  • @kjenkinsms Not the same but still incredible. Can't wait for my first game in what is still the best section! :)

  • This show is awesome, I still get goosebumps every time I see it. This was my junior year and I knew that after Ms. Scott it would never be the same, this was the last show I ever marched. Love & miss my MDB (The Best Band In The Land with the best section in the land Clarinets 2000-2002) days Does anyone have video of the show which we played the soundtrack to the " Crimson Tide Movie"?

  • very nice !!! thanx i loved it
