Girls' Generation is the debut Japanese album of South Korean girl group Shoujo Jidai, slated to be released on June 1, 2011 in Japan under Nayutawave Records. The album will be released in Deluxe First Press Limited Edition, Limited Edition and Regular Edition.

History

First announced to be released on June 1, 2011 in Japan, it will be available in three different versions: two CD + DVD versions and a CD only version.

The Deluxe First Press Edition contains the CD single itself, special box, special mini bag, Limited Edition photobook & Limited Edition poster, and a DVD containing both a newly filmed Japanese Mr. Taxi music video and a dance version of Mr. Taxi music video, as well as the music videos for Genie & Gee.

The Limited Period Edition contains the CD single itself, Limited Edition photobook & Limited Edition poster, and a DVD containing both a newly filmed Japanese Mr. Taxi music video and a dance version of Mr. Taxi music video also Genie & Gee music video.

The regular edition of "Girls' Generation" contains only the CD single itself.

In just 8 months after their Japanese debut in September last year, So Nyuh Shi Dae announced that they will be releasing their first Japanese album which includes their previous hit songs such as "Genie", "Gee" and "Mr.Taxi". Once the pre-order was opened on Amazon Japan, the Deluxe Edition sold very well and rose rapidly to no.1 on the pre-order chart while the Limited Edition was ranked 5th.

@GlitterrPrincezz I disagree, I like pretty much every song off their Japanese album. I only like a couple off of Oh! and Hoot. Though I cannot listen to Gee in Japanese. It just sounds weird. xD
