I think Richard is most fun to watch when he's playing a bad guy (no pun intended) He just as this dark menacing quality when he's playing someone despicable.
Shows how great an actor is when he gets to do the polar opposite role (ala John Thornton) and makes you fall in love with him.

I think he looks extremely handsome when he hasn't shaved and had a shadow. That scruffy look works for him!
