Hey YouTube!
This is another audio recording of the Georgia District Eight "B" Band performing Flight of the Thunderbird by Richard L. Saucedo.

The band was conducted by Mr. Vincent Rosse on Feb. 2nd 2008 at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island, Georgia.

  • srry but, u used the word soli wrong, tht was a sax solo

  • @evilcarcrash It's written as a saxophone solo in the music, but we played it as a soli instead.

  • umm,, poor band.. doenst know how to play.. either that or the person slowed it down.. you know this peice of music has to be a whole lot faster..

  • @MssDeath13Angel He and the band were well aware of his stylistic and artistic choices. He showed us five different ways to end Travelin' Trumpets and lectured us on the different psychological impacts each of the endings can have.

  • Almost did this on the Georgia District 7 Band A. It was cancelled. And no bells?

  • @jakethepianist The part was missing.

  • Good , job!:) They play better than u :)

  • that suck badly my bro played the same solo but much beter

  • i reallt enjoy this song ALOT. nd well it gets me all smiley @1:16( that is not what she said btw) because of the simple fact of our band playing it as well..but what can i sya im in the concert band right now soo things'll change for the better when i am ACCEPTED INTO WIND SYMPHONY!!!!!!! and for carltonj.kell its nt overrated one bit .nope.

  • @BandGeek4VidaI'd say it was VERYnice i go to carlton j.kell HS (longhorns)and so we're even more split up and more diverse in our band programs

so the concertband, symphonic band, and the wind symphony are made up of all classes to the point where there are freshman in the WS who where invited to a very prestigious event in Chicago known as "Midwest Clinic" and yes it was awesomely epic and they performed w/ chicago WS orch which ithink might top this vid just look us up or look up lassiter

  • i have to play this as french horn for my band contest and i feel bad for my alto saxes cuz they have the solo

  • a little slow don't you think? we played it .. mucho faster. but still good
