i roll doun the road in first at about 4k then nail it slip it and drop it and ride it sitting doun. i got a 750 interceptor and its got plenty of power to do it sitting on the tank if i want

The way to wheeling on second gear is different.
But important thing is that you have to remember about revolutions - 4000rpm/min.

So what's the best technique for wheelieing a VFR?

HI.
You have to stand up, holding the petrol tank between your knees, and hold the revolutions between 3000-4000rpm/min.
After that, just ''step on the gas'', trying to hold the balance.
