Today, students expect a multimedia experience with instant feedback. So how do engage this texting, clicking, tweeting, interactive generation?

Check out the fun, compelling things you can do better together with Windows 7 and Windows Live. To start, Windows Live Movie Maker lets you create a polished movie using your photos or video clips in a minute. Yes. One minute. Complete with a soundtrack and title.

You can get your photos from Windows Photo Gallery. Now its easy to share photos on any subject and expand on it with features like this one panoramic stitching.

Another way to engage students is to introduce them to Windows Live Writer. Invite them to create a blog for a project around campus or a class. Using this full set of free blogging tools, they can easily add rich content like photos, maps and commentary.

Encourage collaboration among students. Windows Live Groups lets you set up dedicated online spaces where your students can organize a group calendar, use group IM to discuss ideas, and share photos safely and securely.

Next, Web slices, part of Internet Explorer 8 in Windows 7, lets you take a slice from a website whose content you like to keep up on. Current events, weather, your college sports scores. Get a glimpse of what you need. Quickly. Without having to open the full Web site.

Its all part of the new Connected Learning. And it starts with pioneering faculty like you.
