  • Ah, this is the role for Damrau. Her thick, vibrant voice and electrifying singing sound a little unfit for innocent, suave roles that require flowing and smooth singing (e.g. Gilda, Lucia). Damrau's incisive way of singing, her emphasis on the words and rounded voice sound just perfect for Donna Anna and other dramatic, strong coloratura roles like Konstanze. Her aria here is strong, powerful, a true aria di bravura, and we know those are the specialty of Damrau. :-)

  • Wow! You're fast uploading! Kudos :D Great performance! Was also recording it. But lost my whole 2nd act!! :S
