Afghans react to news of US "surge"

Defence Secretary Robert Gates and Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Michael Mullen are oulining the latest security developments in Afghanistan and Iraq to the US House of Representatives.

The hearing comes a day after President George Bush announced he was withdrawing some troops from Iraq, but sending more to Afghanistan.

Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr has been out on the streets of Kabul, seeking the view of ordinary Afghanis.
