○♪°○ Garry Sandhu's musical journey began at the young age of twelve in the Panjab, where under the guidance of Gurdeep Singh Sandhu was taught * Kavishri*. A form of religious singing, Kavishri is an energetic and dynamic form of singing, which relies on the power of the vocals to compensate for the lack of any instruments. Garry would often be required to sing live in front of large audiences whilst performing Kavishri, an invaluable experience for any young performer. Performing Kavishri and singing at his local Gurdwara, Garry was given an enduring spiritual platform to start his journey into music.

Garry Sandhu's own musical influences come from a wide ranging number of artists, including the multi talented and skilled *Waris Brothers* (Manmohan, Kamal & Sangtar) who take precedence with their energetic performances. An important influence on Garry Sandhu is the late & supremely talented *Soni Pabla*; whose enigmatic voice has inspired Garry more than any other.
