I believe you're wrong, Thineneman may be rich but he's a businessman not a politician. The other two guys are also not politicians, there is no way Anne will lose again. She'll beat the republicans and I'll be happy :)

Anne has to find some issues that matter to people. That whole faith based nonsense and pro-family crap has ran it's course. Anne tried the 2004 playbook during the 2008 election. Guess what democrats believe in god and actually care about families too. And nobody give a crap about that east-end bridge that Anne been going on about for the last 15 years. The country might be right leaning but Louisville likes it's public schools and clean water. And Anne's party doesn't do it any more.

But in the past two polls that have been done on this race, Anne has gained nearly 10 points on Yarmuth. One of those polls coming during the Democratic Presidential primary... and we all know that Obama dominated in Louisville. Despite the high voter turn-out, Anne can easily over-turn these numbers if she campaigns extremely hard in Fairdale & Valley Station/PRP. Lets not forget that there's still THREE Congressional Debates to go. Technically, we havent even seen the "race" yet.

I'm not certain exactly the (D) vs (R) breakdown on the east side probable (D) 43-45% vs (R) 55-57%. But everyone is really pissed with the current administration. And that doesn't really help Anne at all. Now my guess is that an additional 15,000 to 20,000 west side voters will show up compared to 2006 Voting likely 90% for the (D). And Anne doesn't have money advantage. I just don't see it happening for her this time around. Yarmuth actually will get support from the DNC this year.

I agree that the West-end will very heavily turn out for Barack Obama & John Yarmuth! But lets not forget that McCain will drive about the same amount in the East-end.

There is really two or three communities that determine this election. Areas such as Fairdale & Valley Station/PRP will decide the victor.

If this is the case, Anne will benefit the most seeing that Councilman Hawkins will win his Senate race by about 10%... a district that covers both areas.

It is a joke. Not very funny but I attemped. The real reason that Anne will lose is because the Republican name is really hurting right now. The good old republican wedge issues are not going to work in this election. The economy is the only thing that will matter this year. And Obama is at the top of the democrat ticket so expect heaviest turnout in history from the west side of town. All of that means Anne will lose by 8-9% points this year

I think Anne Northup will lose and lose bad. Because the anti-family vote will come out and vote against Anne. There is a large anti-family movement in Louisville. Most people hate their families and think very poorly of their mother's cooking. That is Anne's problem she has really gone out on a limb and has declared herself pro-family. Anyone who is familiar with Louisville politics knows that a pro-family stance is a loser this year. This is a hate your family elction year.

Can you truthfully tell us that Northup will lose overwhelmingly? This video alone shows that shes on key for this election! This video proofs alot of people wrong... Her new strategy includes areas of Louisville she's very weak in and includes reaching out to the Conservatives that she really hasnt ever made an attempt to campaign too. If someone can tell me that Anne Northup isnt a political giant in this city and will be easily defeated, then please feel free to reply.
