...The light skinned black or more "exotic" looking hispanic, asian, or even white girls are the ones exalted in the music videos, in films, etc. When it comes to the issue of dating, I think the black man's selecting or choosing reflects this as many will only approach or seek after a woman who looks like ones they see in music videos or hollywood. Another twist is that women who have these more "desirable" features do everything they can to look like the ethnic women exalted in society today

@demietriuspreston Demietrius, thanks for watching & commenting. I made this video nearly a year ago and I am certainly not as concerned about the issue today as I was a year ago. But I mean what mostly concerns me is when black guys have negative comments about dark skin females as a whole but.... To each their own and Like I said I definitely do not care as much as I did a year back.

It's not just the color of the blacker skin. It's that the light skin girls are mixed so that they have the pretty caucasian features as well as the lite skin. They don't have to fake their hair like you do, it's naturally straight. You can't compete witht that. As a Black man, I don't want to date someone who looks like a baboon on Discovery Channel, so what you need to do is forget about having a man, and find something more constructive and positive to do with your life.

Donniece dropping that knowledge...I think the reason for all the unwarranted hate against blacks with darker skin comes from the media (as someone earlier in the comments already mentioned). Especially among the younger generation, but even in the older I believe blacks are conditioned to shun darker skinned women. It's pretty sad, but if you look at most of the music videos or even movies there are hardly any dark skinned women who have prominent roles.

@gmwilliamsful What does history have to do with? Niggaz be livin in african villages instead of in houses like civilized folk, that's why the women are so black and the hair so nappy. No the big puffy features of africoid women like Jill Scott are not beautiful no matter how much you tell yourself that. Add to that the loudmouth attitude, and any wonder why we prefer white women with petite pretty features and beautiful lite skin, so feminine! Not to mention that fine straight hair, mmmhhmm!
