The Drummer is absolutely Incredible, I have seen him perform hundreds of times with many different acts ranging from Jazz, Fusion and many other genres of musical styles. Hands down one of Chicago's finest musicians.......

He has been all over the world. He is world renouned. He knows Buddy Holly's brother and they are good friends, and he has sang for Buddy Holly's widow. He has played with and meet some of the worlds best and most famious singers. If you ever get a chance to go see Johnny Rogers the Buddy Holly impersonator PLEASE go see him, he is great at what he does and it does it with love and comedy. He has a great heart and he loves his fans.

He had no idea who we were, if we were telling him the truth or not. But he gave us his hard earned money and helped out 2 people that needed it really bad. He talked with us for about 30 min, about one thing and then another. He really left a impersion on 2 people that needed an up lift. He took pictures with us and signed our Popcorn box. He acted out some Jimi Hendrix and Keith Richards (from the Rolling Stones) and then he had to go to get on the road for his next gig.

He gave us the money for the lock service and we got home safely. We know that some people would just say well that was nice, and it was but he was an awesome guy. So people would say man you are taking that to seriously or over doing it, but you had to be there in our shoes and be there and see how this man treated us and how he helped us to understand fully the impression that he left on us. He was the most down to earth guy that we have met in a LONG while.

We didnt have a penny to our name. Well we said never mind that we didnt have that. So we started to pry on it again. Well here came Johnny. He said "aww man, did you lock your keys in the car?" and Ray begain to explane the situation. And you know what? He payed for us to have it unlocked by the Pop-A-Lock guys. Ray said, naw man i cant ask that of you, and Johnny said, your not asking Im telling you, call them I will pay for it, get on the phone. And he did. It brought me to tears.

He could burn up he guitar. Man he lit it up. Well during intermission, I locked the keys in the car. But sence he was so freakin good we went back in and watched the rest of the show and didnt worry about it anymore. Well after the show Ray and I went out to the car and began to try to open the door. Well we had a tow truck guy that was there and he said to call the POP-A-LOCK people. Well we did and they said it would be more than we had to come and open it.

WOW! What can I say. Ray and I went to see a Buddy Holly impersonator, named Johnny Rogers. He played an awesome show. He did, Buddy Holly of course, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, Ray Charles, Deon, Ricky Valens, Elvis, Hank Williams Sr., Willie Nelson, Big Bopper, Conway Twitty, The Beatles, Jerry Lee Luis and he even did some John Wayne..lol. He was absolutley amazing. He added his own little flar to the concert. He was so funny and had a great sence of humor.

I just gone seeing him tonight in davenport. He was amazing. I am HUGE fan now. he was even cool enough to take two pics with me because the first one was blurry. i hope to see him again.
