READ THIS FIRST TO UNDERSTAND VIDEO:
The Allegory of the Cave is an Allegory by Plato describing the world of forms and the ignorance of the world in it's actual form. The prisoners represent society at large. They only see shadows of the people and things passing overhead, these things represent perfect forms. The shadows are imperfect depictions of things from the world of forms. We cannot perceive them directly because we only see them with limited perception. A man releases the prisoner, and the prisoner becomes aware of the world of forms. When he tries to enlighten the other prisoner, he cannot because the prisoner cannot perceive him well. He appears as a shadow. The video was pretty short, so it didn't explain everything perfectly.
For Philosophy Class. Sorry for the poor animation. It's pretty much my first stop motion video over a minute.
Also, in other news, my name looks like Jshn Lake from
the poor handwriting.
